The Bush administration’s torture of “war on terror” suspects has come back to haunt the prosecution of a top 9/11 suspect, the so-called “20th hijacker,” Mohammed al-Qahtani. With key evidence tainted by abusive interrogations, the Pentagon dropped the charges.
